I began my Real Estate career in the early 1970's with a local firm named Robert J. Honig and Associates. By the late 1970's, I had grown my personal business through hard work, honesty and a strong belief in family values. From the late 70's through the mid 80's, I had become the top selling Realtor in Will County.
In 1984, after the worst Real Estate recession since the Great Depression, I purchased Robert J. Honig and Associates. The company at that point consisted of 2 offices and 20 Realtors.
By 1997, the newly named Honig realty became the number 1 Real Estate firm in Will County with 7 offices and 220 Realtors.
In 1997, I purchased Coldwell Banker Bell from my good friend Sheldon Bell, and the firm became Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell. The merger strengthened our position as the #1 selling firm in Will County with a combined 14 offices and 400 Realtors. Today, Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell is the #1 Coldwell Banker Agency in the state of Illinois with 15 offices, 650 professionally trained Realtors, award winning Relocation, and Concierge departments, a full time Property Management division, plus one of Chicagoland's most sucessful Commercial Real Estate Divisions.
